Hello everyone,
Spring is here and I hope that you're all well on your way to starting your annual cleaning binge!
I know I have, especially here on the website. There have been some things removed and others added, for example the CharityCars.ca link has been taken down and a link to the trust fund for Dan Martin's children put up in it's place.
I'm told that as a community we have been quite generous with our donations. I would like to thank everyone who has donated for their kindness and sense of community/family during this terrible time, I'm certain it brings some comfort to his family. Keep up the good work!
April is also the month that we will be holding our AGM. Information about it can be found here on the website as well as posted on your station PPA board. I encourage every PPA member to participate in this process that will help guide the future of the PPA.
We have a page up detailing the PPA car seat program that you can access under the "Community Programs" link. Later on this month look for info about the CPR and Tim Teddy programs.
Our calendar has been updated with a Car Seat Tech. course being run May 14th. It's an excellent opportunity to receive valuable training that will allow you to be pro-active in reducing injuries in children before they occur.
