It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of an on duty York Regional Police Officer early this morning. On behalf of the Peel Paramedic Association, I would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the officer's family and colleagues during this most difficult time.
The PPA will be taking up a collection for the family and donations can be sent to Mike Thomas at Kennedy station via cheque made out to the Peel Paramedic Association. Please do not send cash. Donations will soon be able to made through PayPal via our website. Money raised will go towards a trust for the Officer's family.
